Café Delas Program
This coffee is sourced through Café Delas, a program dedicated to empowering women across Brazil’s coffee-growing regions. Every Café Delas lot is 100% produced by women farmers, where women are not just involved, but are key decision-makers and leaders within their farms and communities.
Café Delas was created to address long-standing inequalities in access to resources, education, and market opportunities. For every coffee sold, a portion of the profits is reinvested into initiatives that support gender equality, technical training, leadership development, and long-term sustainability for women in coffee.
Choosing this coffee means directly supporting women’s voices and livelihoods in the coffee value chain.
Impact Beyond the Cup
Café Delas is built on full transparency and farm-level traceability, ensuring that impact is measurable and meaningful.
In 2025 alone, the program supported 148 women producers.
Over 31,000 bags of coffee were traded.
Women gained increased access to training, networks, and leadership opportunities.
From farm management to sensory analysis, women in Café Delas influence every stage of the journey—from the farm gate to your cup.
Every bag of this coffee contributes to building a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future for coffee.
About the Region — Cerrado Mineiro
Coffee first arrived in Cerrado Mineiro in the 1970s, introduced by farmers from Paraná and São Paulo. Thanks to innovative farming techniques—such as soil acidity correction and irrigation—coffee cultivation flourished in a region defined by its flat terrain and dry harvest season.
These conditions allow for efficient harvesting and highly consistent drying, resulting in coffees known for clarity, balance, and uniformity. Today, Cerrado Mineiro is home to approximately 4,500 farmers cultivating over 210,000 hectares across 55 municipalities.
In 2013, the region became the first in Brazil to receive Denomination of Origin status, recognising its unique terroir and consistently high-quality production.
