Rooted in the Land

From Cesar, Colombia, Madre Tierra brings together 15 farms through a women-led association of coffee producers. Each farm contributes its own story, soil and way of working, creating a coffee that reflects the character of the whole community.

The name means “Mother Earth,” but carries another meaning too. MADRE stands for Mujeres Asociadas por el Desarrollo Rural y Emprendimiento de la Tierra — women working together for rural development and entrepreneurship rooted in the land.

A Coffee Built by Community

Through the association, these producers share knowledge, support each other and build greater stability for their farms and families. Their individual harvests come together as one regional lot, shaped by collaboration and a shared connection to the land.

It is this collective effort that gives Madre Tierra its identity: many hands, 15 farms and one shared expression of the region.
