From Sacred Mountains to Your Cup

High in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, coffee is more than a crop - it is heritage, community, and daily life. This blend comes from the municipality of Pueblo Bello in the Cesar region, where more than 1,300 coffee-growing families cultivate coffee across sacred lands between 1,400 and 2,000 metres above sea level.

A Coffee Built by Community

Produced by the Asociación Madre Tierra collective, this coffee represents the combined work of smallholder farmers, local producers, and indigenous Arhuaco communities who continue to preserve traditional farming practices while producing coffees full of character and regional identity.

Unlike coffees from a single farm, Madre Tierra Sierra Nevada Blend is built on collaboration. Many producers harvest only a handful of sacks each season, but together they create something far greater - a coffee that reflects the spirit, resilience, and shared dedication of an entire community.

The Journey Through the Mountains

Life in these remote mountains is not easy. Many farms are inaccessible by road, and coffee sacks still travel for hours by mule along steep trails and river crossings before reaching the collection centres. Every harvest represents months of work, care, and hope carried through the mountains by the families who dedicate their lives to coffee farming.

In the Cup

This natural processed blend combines varieties including Colombia, Castillo, Caturra, and Yellow Bourbon, resulting in a rich and expressive cup. Expect notes of cherry, panela, orange, and gentle liquorice sweetness, balanced by a medium-high acidity and a smooth, creamy body.
